Terms & Conditions

1. Reservation & Package Inclusions

• The inclusions applicable to a reservation are those specifically mentioned at the time of booking.
• Guests may contact the Front Desk for clarification regarding package inclusions.
• Applicable government taxes are included in the published room rates, subject to changes in government regulations.

2. Check-in & Check-out

• Check-in: 1:00 PM
• Check-out: 11:00 AM
• Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and the hotel's discretion.
• Additional charges may apply for early check-in or late check-out.

3. Identification

• All guests are required to present a valid government-approved photo ID at the time of check-in.
• Visitors must also provide an original government-issued photo ID at reception.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

• Confirmed dates may be altered, cancelled, or shortened only when written notice is received at least 30 days before the check-in date.
• Cancellation 16–29 days before check-in: 50% refund.
• Cancellation 15 days or less before check-in: No refund and no postponement.
• In case of bandh, agitation, landslide, earthquake, or other natural calamities, the same cancellation policy applies and the hotel will not be responsible for such circumstances.

5. Occupancy & Visitors

• A maximum of two adults are permitted per cottage.
• All visitors must register at the Front Desk and present valid identification.
• Visitor hours are 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
• Unregistered guests are not permitted to stay overnight.
• An unregistered person found in a guest room between 8:00 PM and 10:00 AM will attract a penalty of ₹20,000 per person.
• The registered guest is responsible for the conduct and any damage caused by their visitors.

6. Pets & Drivers

• Paatlidun Safari Lodge is not pet-friendly and pets are not permitted on the property.
• Drivers are not permitted to stay at the lodge. Paid accommodation for drivers is available at Mohan, near the reception area.

7. Prohibited Activities & Items

The following are strictly prohibited on the lodge premises:

• Weapons and firearms
• Explosives
• Drugs and contraband
• Poison and flammable objects
• Prostitution
• Gambling
• Any activity causing nuisance or disturbance to other guests

Guests are expected to maintain appropriate and respectful behaviour throughout their stay.

8. Alcohol, Smoking & Tobacco

• Alcohol may be consumed inside the privacy of the guest room.
• Consumption or display of personal alcohol in common areas, lawns, pool decks, lounges or dining areas is prohibited.
• Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas.
• Unauthorized use of tobacco products attracts a ₹25,000 penalty.
• Personal hookah/shisha is permitted only inside the guest room, subject to prior intimation and a ₹10,000 per room per night housekeeping/maintenance charge. Any property damage will be charged separately.

9. Pool & Property Usage

• Guests must not use soap, bubble bath, or other foaming/lathering substances in the swimming pool.
• Violation of this rule attracts a ₹20,000 penalty.
• Furniture and other items in cottages must not be moved from their original positions.
• Guests may be charged for any loss or damage to hotel property, including linen, towels, equipment, furniture, glassware, doors, windows and other items.

10. Valuables & Personal Belongings

• Guests are advised to keep valuables in the room's safety locker.
• Rooms should be locked when guests leave.
• The management does not accept responsibility for loss or theft of valuables left unsecured in the room.

11. Noise & Wildlife Environment

• Paatlidun is a wildlife lodge located in a forest environment. Guests are requested not to play loud music or bring speakers.
• Rooms do not have television facilities, as the lodge encourages guests to experience the surrounding natural environment.
• As the property is fenceless and located in a wildlife area, guests must follow the lodge's safety instructions and exercise appropriate caution.

12. Internet & Mobile Connectivity

• Mobile network connectivity at the lodge is limited.
• Wi-Fi is available for guests.
• During heavy rain or damage to the internet infrastructure, restoration may take time.

13. Safari & Activities

• Safari bookings should be made in advance and are subject to availability.
• Safari and other outdoor activities are subject to applicable forest department rules and operating conditions.

14. Jurisdiction

All disputes arising in connection with the stay or services provided by Paatlidun Safari Lodge shall be subject to Uttarakhand jurisdiction only.
